Description
A walkover survey of part of Ilkerton Ridge was carried out following a wildfire in 2022. The survey located over 100 previously unrecorded archaeological features, including a Bronze Age burnt mound, several standing stones, cairns and a stone row. A large area of military training from the Second World War was also located on the northern end of the ridge.
