An oval mound of peat and stone with a hollow on its northwestern side was noted during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. It was suggested to represent a Second World War military training feature.

Full Description
SS 7158 4538. An oval mound of peat and stone with a hollow on its northwestern side was noted on the north end of Ilkerton Ridge during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. The mound measured 6.5 metres northeast to southwest and 4 metres southeast to northwest, and was 0.8 metres high. It was suggested to represent a Second World War military training feature. [1]
