The following is a list of museums, visitor centres and record offices that relate to Exmoor National Park.
Historic England Archive
The archive holds over 12 million photographs, drawings, reports and publications from the 1850s to the present day, covering the whole country.
South West Heritage Trust
This organisation curates museum services in Somerset, as well as the Devon and Somerset Heritage Centres, the North Devon Record Office and the Somerset Historic Environment Record.
Allerford Museum
The home of The West Somerset Rural Life Museum, The Victorian Schoolroom and The West Somerset Photographic Archive
Dulverton Heritage Centre
The Guildhall Heritage and Arts Centre, which includes an archive room of information about Dulverton and its surroundings.
Lyn and Exmoor Museum, Lynton
The museum includes collections of agricultural and domestic tools as well as information on maritime, railway and natural history, and the Lynmouth Flood.
Minehead Museum
The museum is open seasonally and is based in The Beach Hotel, opposite Minehead's Steam Railway Station.
North Devon Athenaeum
An archive and library focusing on the history of the North Devon area and beyond.
Porlock Weir Boat Shed Museum
A collection aimed at exploring the heritage of Porlock Weir.
South Molton Museum
The museum aims to show the social history of the town and its evolution through the centuries.
Exmoor National Park Centres
The Centres are based in Dulverton, Dunster and Lynmouth.
