Full Description
SS 7173 4441. A large peaty mound on Thornworthy Common was noted during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. The mound was measured as 7 metres from east to west, 8.4 metres from north to south and 1 metre high. The mound was suggested to represent a medieval or post-medieval peat stack. [1]
