Full Description
SS 7133 4568. A subrectangular embanked hollow was noted during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. The hollow measures 8 metres north to south, 8.5 metres east to west and 0.4 metres deep, with a bank measuring 0.5 metres high and 2 metres wide. The hollow was suggested to represent a military training site dating to the Second World War and was noted to be visible on aerial photographs dating to 1952. [1]
