A subrectangular stony mound was noted during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. It was suggested to represent a clearance cairn of Bronze Age date.

Full Description

SS 7205 4477. A subrectangular stony mound was noted on the southern end of Ilkerton Ridge during field survey following a wildfire in 2022. The mound measured 4.6 metres northwest to southeast, 2.6 metres northeast to southwest, and was 0.5 metres high. It was interpreted as a Bronze Age clearance cairn. [1]
