The remains of quarries of probable post-medieval date are visible on aerial photographs as earthworks pits.

The remains are visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. The pit and its access track are marked on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, suggesting it was still in use and therefore likely to be post-medieval, if not 19th Century, in date.

A Second World War construction quarry was mapped from aerial photographs taken in 1946. It is associated with the extensive military training area and tank firing range that covered North Hill during the war.

A rectangular area of stone rubble. It represents the remains of a building of uncertain function but possibly a field barn dating from the late 19th or early 20th Century. It may be associated with Fernhill to the southeast.
