Full Description

One of two quarry scoops within the medieval or post-medieval field system on Bossington Hill. This one is at SS 90253 48559, is 10.8 by 4.7 metres and 0.5 metres deep, with a spoil mound at its western end. See MSO12650 for the other. Surveyed using differential GPS as part of the RCHME Exmoor project. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
