Full Description
A signpost was visited in June 2017 and its condition assessed. It currently has no finial. The attached fingers read: LUXBOROUGH 3 1/2 Nutcombe bottom P / Tallest tree in England The post is marked SOMERSET but features no maker's details. [1] The signpost was mapped using Ordnance Survey MasterMap data. [2] The signposts was refurbished by the Exmoor Historic Signpost Project and a new finial installed in 2018 [3] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in February 2024. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [4]
