A post-medieval water meadow system, known locally as a catchwater meadow, is visible on aerial photographs as a series of earthworks.

Several linear banks are visible on aerial photographs. They appear to relate to an orchard shown on historic mapping in this location.

Two leats are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. They appear to have been designed to channel water to the saw mill at Knowle Manor, which was constructed in 1828 and was known to have included an overshot wheel and pond.

An infilled ditch or gully is visible on aerial photographs as a slight earthwork. Its precise date and function are uncertain but it may be associated with the numerous water channels, leats and sluices in this area.

The earthwork remains of a field boundary of possible medieval date is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards. It can be seen to be cut by several narrow ditches, mostly part of a field-gutter system of probable 19th Century date.

Earthworks of probable post-medieval date are visible on aerial photographs. They may include former water courses and field boundaries, and possibly evidence some landscaping activity, perhaps during the metalling of Well Lane.

A 19th Century milestone, 'Minehead 12', is shown on mapping at this location. It was to be listed in the 1980s but was apparently destroyed.

A field boundary and hollow way visible as earthworks on aerial photographs are probably associated with the deserted farmstead of Smallcombe.
