Monument record: MSO9353 Town Mills / Higher Mill, Dulverton (Building)Higher Mill is a three-storeyed stone building, believed to have been the town mill for Dulverton. It was fed by a leat originating from the weir across the River Barle. The present building probably dates from the mid 19th Century.

Monument record: MSO9458 Castle Mill, Mill Lane, Dunster (Building)A late 17th Century watermill on a Domesday mill site on the edge of Dunster Castle grounds, restored in 1979 as a working mill. It was rebuilt 1779-82 and adjoins a late 18th century gateway to the Castle grounds.

A disused overshot wheel is still visible, which at one stage was used to generate electricity.

Monument record: MSO9360 32, Lady Street, Dulverton (Monument)A mill is shown on historic mapping. The present building may be 18th Century and was identified as a paper mill, though this was probably further upstream; the building may actually have been a grist mill. The property is now a house.

Monument record: MDE21144 Bumsley Mill or Heddon Valley Mill (Monument)Bumsley Mill, a corn mill, is shown on historic mapping. It was in use as a Youth Hostel between 1947 and 1953, suffering damage during the Lynmouth Flood in August 1952. It is now called Heddon Valley Mill.
