Abstract/Summary
Six timbers from the west range of the Old Priory were dated, and the results suggested that the range was constructed between AD 1270 and 1302.
A single sample from the Tithe Barn gave a felling date of that timber as winter AD 1614/15, tentatively suggesting a construction date of around that time for the building.
