Source/Archive record SEM341464 - HER input form Re-setting Stone G, Halscombe Stone Setting

A stone was reported to have been found out of its socket on 17 August 2020. The hole was relatively fresh and the indent of the socket matched the shape of the stone. It was agreed with Historic England that the re-setting of the stone back into the socket would be included as an additional site within the Monuments Management Scheme 2019-2020 to avoid deterioration. It was replaced in the socket on 17 March 2021.
