Two small post-medieval quarry pits are sited on the spur between East Combe and Henners Combe.

Full Description

Two small quarry pits lie on the spur between East Combe and Henners Combe. They were surveyed using differential GPS as part of the RCHME Exmoor project. One [A], at SS 9120 4897, measures 8.5 metres by 3 metres by 2 metres deep. The other [B], at SS 9123 4894, is 6 metres by 2 metres by 0.5 metres deep. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
