MSO12131 - Westlight, 15 West Street, Dunster (Building)

Early 19th century frontage. Colourwashed rendering, slate roof, bracketed eaves, brick end stacks, two hipped casement dormers. Two storeys plus attic. Three windows, sashes in reveals with glazing bars, flat heads with stepped voussoirs. Central semi-circular head door opening, imposts, plain arched fanlight, panelled door. Later 1 fascia to ground floor right hand. [1] English Heritage Listed Building Number: 264726. First Listed on 22/05/1969. [2] The building is situated within Dunster's Conservation Area. The 2002 Character Appraisal states it is "early 19th century with typical features of the period including colour-washed rendering, panelled central door with semi-circular fanlight, and sash windows with narrow glazing bars."[3] The building was visited in April 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13.
