Full Description
"Old limekiln" printed on OS 25 inch map. [1] Nothing shown on OS 1:10,000 map. [2] Not shown on OS 6 inch map. [3] The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map shows the limekiln (labelled 'LK') adjacent to a quarry, which it presumably served. [4] Holley records a limekiln to the east of Higher Rodhuish Farm, at ST 0133 3982. [5] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [6]
