MSO10134 - Post-medieval quarry northeast of Driver Farm (Monument)

Full Description

Grass covered quarry approximately 31 metres long, 15 metres wide and up to 3 metres deep (back edge), with a spoil mound at the east end approximately 7 metres long, 2 metres wide and up to 1 metre high. A track approximately 3 metres wide runs west for approximately 43 metres along the front edge of the quarry and fades out on the hillside above. The trackway has been rutted in places by farm vehicles, but the site is generally in good condition. [1]
