Full Description

Trackways and probable ironstone pits of medieval or later date, visible on vertical aerial photographs at South Quarme Allotment. The pits lie adjacent to the Pulham River and the trackways run from this small group of extractive pits, north-eastward towards Kennisham Hill plantation. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
