Summary

Linear ditches and a square sunken feature, possibly a building platform, were visible as earthworks on the western slopes of Blagdon Hill on vertical air photographs taken in 1947. These features may be post-medieval in date.

Full Description

Linear ditches and square sunken feature, possibly a building platform, visible on vertical aerial photographs on the western slopes of Blagdon Hill, SS 9671 3338. These features may be post-medieval in date. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
