MMO3680 - Possible late prehistoric enclosure southeast of Foxfield (Monument)

Full Description
A possible Later Prehistoric or Iron Age subrectangular enclosure is visible on aerial photoraphs as a cropmark in fields east of Treborough Lodge, Treborough. Centred at approximately ST 0224 3717, the enclosure is apparently defined by a narrow ditch, visible as a line of darker crop growth measuring up to 1.5 metres wide and forming an enclosure measuring 37 metres long by 35 metres wide. Further survey is required. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
