Full Description
The existence of a simple water meadow adjacent to Woodland, at circa SS 9247 4165, can be inferred from aerial photographs of the 1940s. The gutter itself cannot be seen but the slick of water flowing downhill as the gutter is in use is clearly visible. The source of the water is unclear. The gutter is probably 19th Century in origin and may have functioned in tandem with the agricultural building at Woodland.
