Full Description
A possible post-medieval water meadow system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. The water meadow is located to the southeast of the deserted Combeshead farm and centred at SS 9300 4719. The water meadow is defined by ditches which are orientated northwest to southeast. The ditches cover an area that measures 144 metres long by 55 metres wide. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
