Full Description

A stony bank lies close to the bottom of a strip lynchet, south of the deserted settlement in Mansley Combe.The bank is 9m N/S, 4m E/W, 0.6m high, and is formed from three stone heaps. It could be associated with the working of the strip lynchets but is more likely to be associated with the field clearance cairn MEM25592, dating from the early post medieval use of the area in the 16th and 17th centuries.[1]
