Full Description
SS 70478 43484: A small turf-covered stoney mound located on a slight natural terrace at the head of the combe at Butter Hill. The mound is 3.70m north-south by 3.10m east-west, and up to 0.60m tall. Its morphology and location suggest that it may be a Bronze Age funerary cairn, which commands extensive views across the Bristol Channel.
