A small group of Mesolithic flints were found by the Exmoor Paths Partnership when they were working on Dunkery Hill, east of the road and southwest of two cairns (115551), very close the to crossing of two tracks.

Full Description

A small group of Mesolithic flints were found by the Exmoor Paths Partnership when they were working on Dunkery Hill, east of the road and southwest of two cairns (List entry: 1020926), very close the to crossing of two tracks. There were eight struck pieces of grayish flint – 6 are parts of blades, one a tiny flake and one a very tiny narrow piece of blade. There were also three pieces of chert – two pieces of blades and one triangular bit, possibly part of core preparation. [1]
