Full Description

SS 718 345. A boundary cairn marks the boundary of Exmoor National Park, situated on a grassy bank on the side of the road at Yardewells Cross, near Brayford. The cairn is constructed of roughly mortared stone, with a triangular sign featuring the logo of the National Park Authority. The cairn was surveyed in 2015, at which time it was noted that vegetation clearance was needed at the site. [1] The cairn is not marked on the 2022 MasterMap data. [2] The cairn is not clearly visible on aerial photographs dating to 2020, but it appears to be located at c.SS 7185 3453. [3]
