Full Description
The farmstead is possibly of 18th Century date and has a good range of stone outbuildings grouped around a cobbled yard. [1] The farmstead is depicted and labelled on the 2022 MasterMap data. [2] The buildings at West Bodley Farm appear to be similarly arranged on historic mapping available to the HER, including the Tithe Map for Parracombe. [3-5] West Bodley Farmhouse is probably early 19th Century in date and is set back from a good range of stone outbuildings grouped around a cobbled yard. [6] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [7]
