The 2022 MasterMap data depicts a roughly oval area labelled "Workings (dis)" at SS 8020 3711. [1] The 25 inch 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts the feature and labels the site "Old Gravel Pit". [2] The feature is labelled "Gravel Pit" on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, suggesting it was in use at this time. [3]
