Full Description
The incomplete cropmark of a possible Iron Age or Roman enclosure can be seen on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken in 2010. This is situated to the northwest of Huish Barton at ST 0492 3876. Three sides of this possible square enclosure can be seen; no southeastern side is visible. Other nearby cropmarks includes a short L shaped ditch to the north and a faint group of ditches to the south, some of which may form enclosures. [1] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [2]
