Full Description
A narrow rectangular hollow lies on the S side of the leat for Leigh Mill at ST 0244 3553. It is 6.7 by 2 by 1.3 metres. Although the hollow is obscured with vegetation, there appears to be no trace of a stone lining or any other features. It may be a saw pit, or it may be associated with Leigh Mill (MSO11515). [1] The feature is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
