MEM25198 - World War Two anti tank obstacle on Dunster Steep (Monument)

Site of a Second World War anti-tank obstacle located on Dunster Steep, 15 yards up the approach road into Dunster from main Minehead and Taunton road. The anti-tank obstacle was constructed in 1940-41 and comprised graduated steel girders, which were removable, slotted into holes in the road. A field visit in 1996 found no traces of the structure.
