Full Description
A linear anomaly was noted during magnetometry survey in autumn 2021, aligned approximately northeast to southwest across a field. It equates to a boundary shown on historic mapping in c.1840 (and possibly 1802-3), and disappears from the cartographic record between 1962 and 1972. [1] The feature is shown clearly on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] It is also shown on the Tithe Map for Selworthy. [3]
