Full Description
The Tithe Map for Luccombe depicts a group of buildings to the east of and between the churchyard and the road through the settlement, at SS 9113 4454. These are labelled 620a, which the Apportionment describes as the "Poor House", owned by William Stoate and occupied by Vincent Evans and others. [1] The buildings are not shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, suggesting they had been removed by this time. [2]
