Full Description
The 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts and labels an old quarry at SS 9979 4292. Several trees are shown growing on the earthworks. [1] The 2nd Edition map again depicts the quarry but does not label the feature. [2] The quarry is not shown on 2018 MasterMap data. The feature is on the western edge of a new wooded area, labelled Geoffrey's Oaks. [3]
