Full Description
A wooden signpost is situated on the northern riverbank at a T junction and was visited as part of the Exmoor Signpost Survey 2017-8. It has shaped round ended fingers and no finial; the fingers are directly integrated with the post. The fingers read: PORLOCK / LYNMOUTH / LYNTON - facing - PORLOCK / LIGHT VEHICLES BRENDON / OARE [1] The signpost is shown on 2018 MasterMap data. [2] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in February 2024. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [3]
