Full Description
A square building is shown on Kings Brompton Tithe Map of 1841 at SS94352959, within a larger rectangular enclosure. They are together labelled 1236, which is described as "Lyncombe Padwells etc: Court and Linhay", owned by the Earl of Carnarvon and occupued by Thomas Coles. [1] The building appears to be shown on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps, although its associated enclosure and the adjacent field boundaries have been reordered. [2,3] The building still appears to be extant on the 2016 MasterMap data. [4]
