Full Description
A K6 telephone box, of a type designed by Giles Gilbert Scott for the General Post Office to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of King George V in 1935. [1,2] The box is marked on the 2022 MasterMap data.[3] The box is mentioned in the 2019 Conservation Area Appraisal for Parracombe. [4] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [5]
