Full Description
A post-medieval stone was visible on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. This was not seen on the 3rd Edition mapping. [1-3] A boundary stone is set into the parapet of Green Bridge (MEM25257). It is incised "P.P. S.P." (Porlock Parish and Selworthy Parish). It is possible that this is the stone labelled on the historic mapping. [4,5] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [6]
