Full Description
A 20th Century sluice was visible on the 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map. This was not seen on the earlier 1st Edition, or on the later 2014 MasterMap. The Monument GIS point was placed upon the annotation for the 2nd Edition map, as the feature location was not certain. [1-3] The sluice was presumably related to the pond shown on the 1st Edition map, which fed the waterwheel at Broomstreet Farm. [2,4]
