In Church Hill north of the Parish Church are two facing late 19th Century three storey groups with gabled dormer windows and largely original shopfronts, one... with a corner bowed window. The main elevations are a mix of stone with brick or Ham Hill stone dressings or are rendered. Most timber sash windows… also survive. [1] The buildings are shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [2] 1-3 Castle Hill also retain good period detail. [3] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [4]
