Summary
In 1740, the mastership of the Devon and Somerset Staghounds passed to Mr Edward Dyke of Pixton. The hounds were kept at kennels at Jury, on the slope of the hill above Hele Bridge, next to the North Drive to Pixton Park.

Full Description
In 1740, the mastership of the Devon and Somerset Staghounds passed to Mr Edward Dyke of Pixton. The hounds were kept at kennels at Jury, on the slope of the hill above Hele Bridge, next to the North Drive to Pixton Park. In 1861, the hounds were moved from Jury Kennels. [1]
