Full Description
A British Legion house is located on Lady Street. [1] Legion House, dated 1951, was a bequest to the town from a military officer. It has an Arts and Crafts style stone built frontage (with a date of 1954 on a stone plaque), including a massive porch and oak plank stable door with forged strap hinges, all attached to the brick built rear. [2] The building is mentioned in the 2019 Conservation Area Appraisal for Dulverton. [3] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [4]
