Full Description
Wood's Café and Balsom's Bakery was in Bank Square (formerly in Church Lane) and Wood's Restaurant and Bar is still located here. The building was originally used as a Dame School. [1] Woods Dining Room incorporates a traditional shop front with recessed entrance at the side, and has a frontage of roughly coursed local stone with sash windows including one tri-partite. [2] The building is mentioned in the 2019 Conservation Area Appraisal for Dulverton. [3] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [4]
