Full Description
Broomfield's Bakery was located in Chapel Street. It is now a private house. [1] The Old Bakehouse, with large casement windows, is probably early 19th Century, and occupies a recessed position with leat and sluices to the fore. [2] Number 4 Chapel Street adjoins Old Bakehouse, which is probably early 19th Century and occupies a recessed position behind a wall and railings. [3] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. The building is included in the 2019 Dulverton Conservation Area Appraisal as a building of local importance. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [4]
