Full Description
A charcoal burning platform in Culbone Wood, approximately 300 metres to the north-north-west of Twitchen. The platform is circa 10 metres long and 4.5 metres wide. The rear of the platform is cut into the hillslope by about 1.5 metres and the front, downslope edge is still upstanding to a height of circa 1.3 metres. Both edges are slumped but otherwise the site is in good condition. [1]
