Full Description
A short section of wood boundary bank on the upper north facing slopes of Withycombe Wood. The boundary earthwork is very eroded with small hazel and holly trees growing on it, but can be seen to survive to a height of circa 0.5 metres and a width of circa 1 metre. The boundary is marked on the Ordnance Survey first and second edition 6 inch maps of 1889 and 1904, which corresponds to a boundary still depicted on the current Ordnance Survey base map. [1-4]
