Full Description
A shallow earthwork pit or scoop in Sherracombe, identified during field survey. Superficially similar to charcoal burning platforms, the earthwork is one of several such features within the combe interpreted as evidence for mineral prospecting. The possible pit could be associated with a nearby platform. [1]
