Full Description
The farmstead is shown as 'Lynch' on the Timberscombe Tithe Map of 1843 as a detached estate. [1] The farmstead shows on the 25 inch 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps. Some of the original buildings have been removed and the site reorganised by this point. [2,3] The farmstead is visible on the 2020 MasterMap data. Most of the core buildings shown on the 1st Edition map are apparently still extant. [4] East Lynch Cottage and two barns were surveyed in 1981. [5]
