Full Description

The presence of a bee bole structure at Zephyr Cottage has been recorded. It was said to have been in use until about 1900. [1] The IBRA register records the bee bole as having five external recesses, with an arched, domed front and a flat back. They are constructed from stone in the garden, facing south and probably date from c.1750. The projecting bases were broken when surveyed in 1981. [2]
