Full Description
Headstone. Probably C18. Slate. Nowy-arched. Segmental shouldered head. Inscrip- tions on both sides with cherubs head decoration on east face, urn on west face. Inscription on west face to John Hoyles (d 1843). [1] The building was visited in September 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 5A. [2] The stone was assessed as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor’s Listed Buildings 2018-19. It received a BAR score of 4A. [3]
